Abstract
A 35-year-old previously healthy woman, originating from southern Africa, presented with a slowly growing facial mass over a course of ten years. Magnetic resonance imaging showed an intra- and extracranial tumorous mass with extensive bone destruction. Biopsies led to diagnosis of invasive Aspergillus sinusitis which was successfully treated without surgery.
