Abstract

This book is addressed to patients who are going to lose one eye. It is written by a highly intelligent and articulate former pilot who lost his eye in an accident when a duck flew against the windshield of his plane. Mr Brady describes his period of adjustment and gives numerous helpful hints to the patient who has now to rely on one eye only. The author adjusted quickly and completely; he is again piloting his plane. The book should be of help in rehabilitation and counseling of any patient who is about to lose one eye or for any parent whose child needs an enucleation.
