Abstract
Conventional switched-capacitor (SC) filter systems have alias and image frequency-translated signal components which are regarded as undesirable and supressed by a low-pass anti-aliasing filter (AAF) and by a low-pass anti-imaging filter (AIF). In this paper, we propose a single-path frequency-translated filter system in which these frequency translations are deliberately utilized in order to realize bandpass responses with very narrow relative bandwidths. The system requires bandpass AAF and AIF which are implemented using SC techniques.
