Abstract

A single-shot autocorrelator for UV pulses is presented. It uses a tilted pulse-front geometry and three-photon fluorescence of XeF as a non-linear detector. The readout system consists of a CCD camera and an oscilloscope. The resolution of the device is a few femtoseconds.
