Abstract

The authors of this Perspective argue that ASID and IIDA should go beyond “collaboration” and move forward expediently to create a single organization in order to preserve and advance the profession of interior design. I encourage you to read the Perspective and submit your thoughts on the topic to the Letters section of the next issue of the Journal of Interior Design. Of particular interest to the authors are thoughts about the Interior Design Educators Council and how fi ts with the concept of a single professional organization.
