Abstract

In this paper, an efficient numerical method is proposed for the 1D elliptic type interface problems. We first construct a broken reproducing kernel space and then apply the simplified reproducing kernel method to the interface problems. The convergence of the proposed method is discussed. Finally, some representative numerical examples are presented to illustrate the accuracy and robustness of the proposed method.
