Abstract
A relationship is derived which greatly simplifies the application of the Schwarz–Christoffel formula in mapping a quadrilateral having one axis of symmetry. The relationship allows all of the image points on the real axis to be evaluated explicitly, thus reducing the formula from an integral equation to an explicit integral.
