Abstract
Septic flexor tenosynovitis is an aggressive hand infection that requires expedient attention. We describe the use of readily available red rubber catheters and arthroscopy tubing in operative irrigation of septic flexor tenosynovitis. The advantage of this technique over more open or invasive techniques is its simplicity, minimally invasive and tissue sparing nature, and rapid flow of fluid within the tight flexor sheath.
