Abstract
A CO2 waveguide laser with an intracavity hot cell, which is capable of being operated on the 00°2 sequence transitions, is described. More than 15 lines in the 10.4 μm sequence band having maximum output power up to 1.2 W have been observed from a simple grating-tuned cavity.
