Abstract

Pulsers on the basis of silicone controlled rectifiers (SCRs) are intended for pulse supply of different electrical loads in table-top maser experiment setups. The present pulse-timing system, ensuring the needed timing diagrams of the load pulses, forms the required values of time delay of unlocking the SCR by a capacitor, connected between the SCR gate and cathode. Analytical relationships, necessary for preliminary design of the system, have been obtained. Results of the experimental checks correspond to the analysis.
