Summary Free fall, accelerated motion down a slope, pendulum motion, Airy's pendulum and Lissajous' figures, the effect of damping, and collisions, are timed using a small neon lamp flashing at 50 or 100 hertz, which is carried by moving system and photographed with a Polaroid camera.
