Abstract

AbstractA dry method for indicating the electric field distribution during microwave heating is proposed. Toner particles, ordinarily used for copying, form a pattern on a heated plate that is directly related to the field. The pattern may be preserved by making a clear monochrome negative of the particle distribution. Resolution ir superior to that of patterns formed by heated thermopaint.
