Abstract
Abstract A simple laboratory technique has been developed that provides a quantitative evaluation of flocculation. The test is rapid, reproducible, and relates directly to full‐scale operation and performance. The effects of mixing duration and intensity, flocculant dose, flocculant dilution and sludge pH on flocculation and gravity drainage performance are reported herein.
