Abstract

A small self-contained device for the measurement of ionization in bubble chamber pictures has been developed at the Rutherford High Energy Laboratory. A description of the instrument and results of ionization measurements are presented and the possible use of this instrument as an aid for monitoring bubble chamber exposures is discussed.
