Abstract
A simple fiber optic multiplexer for high bit-rate optical communication is reported. A wide bit-rate range makes the device especially suitable for experimental work. 4:1 multiplexing of the input bit-rate from below 10 Gbit/s to 1 Tbit/s is shown to be feasible.
