Abstract

The existing integral and differential data for two-particle correlations between negative pions produced in high-energy pp collisions are discussed. They are shown to be explained in a simple wayby adopting the Feynmann-Wilson two-component picture. The diffractive part of distribution, which appears to be small, is evaluated from experimental data. For the non-diffractive interaction the conservation laws are assumed to play the dominant role in correlation effects.
