Abstract

Commercial universal EPROM programmer used for programming EPROMs is a costly overhead for an establishment where only a few microprocessor based systems are to be developed. Here a simple inexpensive method for programming EPROMs is described which makes use of the SDK 85 microprocessor development kit. Automatic switching of power supply is also incorporated. This system is flexible enough to perform any combination of the tasks write, verify, blank test or read without manual intervention.
