Abstract
This paper deals with the identification of state space systems operating in closed loop by using a revised Joint Input/Output Method. Following the deriving of the state space model for closed loop system, a set of new formulas for reconstruction of the open loop model is obtained. A Similarity Transformation Algorithm is introduced and this algorithm provides the criterion for identified model validation. Some numerical examples show the algorithm is suitable for engineering applications.
