Abstract
In recent years, some scholars have proposed DC-biased vernier reluctance machine. The phase current of this machine is DC biased, and the rotor flux can be changed by changing the magnitude of the DC bias current, so that the machine has flexible and good magnetic field adjustment capability. The back electromotive force waveforms of DC-biased-VRMs contain low-order harmonics, when the machine speed increases, the harmonic order increases accordingly, the switching frequency that can be achieved by conventional IGBTs is not enough to provide enough current loop bandwidth, to eliminate the harmonic currents at high speed, this paper uses the high switching frequency characteristics of SiC MOSFET to improve the current loop bandwidth to 5kHz in proportional-integral-resonant controller. Finally, the effectiveness of the control strategy proposed in this paper is verified by experiments.
