Abstract

PREVIOUSLY1, it was shown that treatment of human red cells with crystalline trypsin in a low concentration resulted in destruction of the I agglutinogen on their cells and release of a sialoglycopeptide with the I activity. This communication describes the isolation and some chemical properties of the sialoglycopeptide.
