Abstract

Halstead's Category test was administered to 84 brain-damaged patients; an item analysis of these protocols showed that 40% of the items could be omitted. The reconstruction of the test and its administration through a booklet of photographic prints calling for verbal responses and feedback produced a modified test of 125 items, with a significant cut-off point of 45 errors.
