Abstract

Question: A 25-year-old man was presented to the emergency department with fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and malaise for a week. He denied any history of cough, weight loss, chills, night sweats, upper respiratory tract symptoms, nausea, or vomiting. There was no history of smoking, chronic use of medications such as nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), recent sick contact, recent travel, or known ingestion of contaminated foods.
