Abstract

We describe a setup which consists of two CdTe based gamma cameras with coded apertures and a video camera. The system is used for the localization of radioactive sources via triangulation. By adjusting the mask-to-detector distance the maximum Fully Coded Field of View (FCFV) is 92.72 degrees. The System Point Spread Function (SPSF), the Angular Resolution (AR) and the Point Source Location Accuracy (PSLA) are investigated using experimental data and simulations.
