Abstract

Today's highway manager and citizen are navigating the ever-increasing amount of sensor data available from a wide variety of in-situ and dynamic environmental sensors. However, it's hard to share, interoperate and fuse those heterogeneous data from different fields, and it's even hard to linked spaces together as a whole. The main reason is that not we inadequate of data or processing, but the mechanism we can aggregate and cooperate the resources seamless. Aiming to solve the question, we propose a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based services framework for networked highway. This framework first extends annotation of service, regarding sensor resources, data resources, and processing resources as services. Final, those services are linked together to establish a powerful highway information system.
