Abstract

For node controlling in target tracking of wireless multimedia sensor networks, a rotatable sense model and node controlling algorithm were given. To monitor target dynamically by controlling nodes, the authors structured virtual force between moving target and the current sense node depending on the virtual potential method, then selected the next sense node with information gain function so that as few nodes as possible were used to get the maximum probability of motion trajectory sensing when target randomly moved in the specific area till target living it. The proposed algorithm is verified from the simulations.
