Abstract

Named Data Networking (NDN) is a new type of data-centric future internet architecture, and introducing security mechanisms into the architecture directly. However, in the process of verifying and transmitting data packets, there are still some issues of the sensitive information leakage. Aiming at the above problems, this paper proposes a sensitive information protection scheme using attribute-based ring-signcryption to address the privacy leakage problem in NDN. The public keys for publishers used to ring-signcrypt and the private keys for consumers and NDN routers used to un-signcrypt are all generated by multi-authorities. NDN routers are members of the ring and fully trusted in our scheme, and they can validate the correctness and integrity of messages. The scheme is proved adaptive chosen-ciphertext security in the random oracle model. The article proposed an attribute-based ring-signcryption mechanism in NDN not only protects the privacy of participants but also ensures the confidentiality and unforgeability of messages.
