Abstract

In this paper a semi-blind watermarking method for color images is introduced based on chaotic maps. To achieve a secure design, the method generates a pseudo-random binary watermark by a chaotic map and embeds the watermark bits in Red, Green, and Blue pixels of the color image. In the detection stage, the watermark bits are extracted without requirement to the original image, of course the embedding positions' addresses are needed. The simulation results show that the proposed method has good performance in terms of the peak signal to noise ratio and the bit error rate quality measures.
