Abstract

This research aims to re-read the Arab poetic heritage from a semantic point of view through the Tarfa Bin Al-Abd Mo’alaqa because of the moral and moral value it holds from this commentary and the diversity in the semantic fields in an attempt to find out the indications of those fields and the relationships between them in an attempt to understand the overall picture .The meaning included in the twinkling in its suspension. "The connotation of the word is not limited to the significance of the word only, but it contains all the meanings that it may take within the linguistic context, because the words in reality do not include an absolute connotation but take their connotations in the context in which they are presented. The significance of the sentence is also related to the significance of its vocabulary and its structural structure, that each A linguistic reference as it is known to contain D and denoted, and the signifier does not have any or any word consisting of syllables in the language unless the word includes a meaning to it. Therefore, this research sought to reveal the extent of the convergence of these semantic relationships within the (Tarfa) poem and its results, and the role of the context and its elements in shaping the overall meaning, so it may be found in the direction of benefiting from the data of the modern linguistic lesson in the study of literary texts.
