Abstract

This paper proposes a wide stopband filter based on integrated substrate gap waveguide (ISGW) technology. The ISGW wide stopband filter structure is composed of three-layer dielectric substrates. The top substrate uses metallic via-holes and metallic patches to achieve a perfect magnetic conductor (PMC) structure. It is suitable for package substrates and integrated waveguide (SIW) filters. The middle layer substrate provides a stable gap layer, and the base substrate is used to obtain the SIW filter by etching the dumbbell slot in the mental plane, i.e. the self-packaged ISGW filter. The center frequency of the filter is 10.9GHz, and the simulation results show that the return loss in the passband is better than 25dB, and the out-of-band rejection in the 12.2 GHz - 19 GHz frequency band is better than 40dB, achieving a wider stopband.
