Abstract

Many high-resolution (HR) satellite with multispectral sensor(MUX) and panchromatic sensor(PAN) have been launched for earth observation and remote sensing application. Multispectral sensor and panchromatic sensor can obtain asynchronous image. In this paper, the asynchronous satellite image is used to probe the relative location of each linear-array detectors. Subpixel dense matching software, Co-Registration of Optically Sensed Image and Correlation(COSI-Corr), is employed to acquire image residuals. According to the relative location of each linear-array detector on focal plane, the error of elements of exterior orientation can be eliminated timely without the ground control points (GCPs). The result of GF-1 relative location of each linear-array detectors is analyzed and reported for the first time. Meanwhile, the preliminary analysis of GF-l relative location of each linear-array detector can obtain valuable information. Finally, the software of getting image residual by COSI-Corr and the method of obtaining average displacement of each linear-array detector by K-means will make exemplary contribution.
