Abstract

The guaranteed power source, core transmission lines, core substations, and core loads are important components of the guaranteed power grid. In this paper, the minimum sum of the length of the sending-out transmission lines of the guaranteed power source is regarded as the objective function, considering the type and the capacity of the power source and the inertia support of the power system. Then, the guaranteed power source selection method for the guaranteed power grid is proposed. Next, the maximum capacity of the renewable energy participating in the power system is analyzed when the renewable energy provides power supply to ensure system security and stability operation. Finally, the guaranteed power source is selected in a provincial power grid based on a system partitioned. The guaranteed power sources obtained by the proposed method are all important power sources in the actual operation of the provincial power grid. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the provincial power grid, which provides the basis for constructing the guaranteed power grid with a high-proportion renewable energy system.
