Abstract

Most readers of the Journal of Broadcasting tend to limit their reading of materials dealing with the Federal Communications Commission to accounts in the trade press (and, of course, in the Journal itself). There is, however, a wealth of useful information on the FCC and its policies and activities that may be found in Congressional documents, bar journals, and other professional magazines. The following bibliography is not intended to be exhaustive, but instead presents a selected list of boohs, pamphlets, theses and dissertations, Congressional and other reports and documents, bills, sections of books, and periodical articles dealing with the Federal Communications Commission. It was prepared following a search of the various periodical indices, bibliographies of theses and dissertations, the Monthly Catalog of U.S. Government Publications, the Library of Congress Catalog, and similar sources.
