Abstract
O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a busca da China por segurança energética e as reações dos EUA, bem como seus desdobramentos para a política internacional. O argumento central é que a ascensão chinesa tem dependido do suprimento energético externo, que, por sua vez, revela o crescimento das disputas com os EUA em um cenário internacional de reorganização de forças.
