Abstract

Due to the increasing popularity of cloud computing, data owners are motivated to upload their data of different types from local devices to the interrelated public cloud for large-scale data storage and data sharing. However, there are many security issues and challenges are associated with the storage and sharing in the public cloud. In this paper, at first, we explore security issues of the public cloud and existing solutions and establish requirements of privacy and usability. In order to solve these issues, as our principal contribution, we design an updated secure architecture which can be applied in the multi-party data sharing and computation under the public cloud environments. At last, we discuss the practical application scenarios and show our new architecture which can give comprehensive privacy guarantees, especially its better usability.
