Abstract

SummaryA further blood sample lacking the high frequency red cell antigen Lu6 has been found. The cells are agglutinated by the low frequency antibody anti‐Lu9, and the results provide additional confirmation that the antigens Lu6 and Lu9 are controlled by allelic genes. Serum of the propositus contains anti‐Lu6, agglutinating all red cell samples except those that are Lu(a–b–) or Lu(–6).
