Abstract

The statue fragments Sinai 219, 298 and 426 from the temple at Serabit el-Khadim in the Sinai belong to a seated statue of a queen, dated to year 33 of the reign of Amenhotep III. This statue probably represents Princess Sitamun rather than Queen Tiye, but may depict the queen in the role of the goddess Hathor. It was erected by the treasurer Sobekhotep, whose activity at Serabit el-Khadim is discussed below.
