Abstract

This paper discusses the introduction of a basic electronics course into a large girls comprehensive school. Details are given of the course contents, syllabus and method of assessment. The course has approximately 200 hours of tutorial and practical work including a project. It is concluded that the course provides a way of changing the attitude of girls towards engineering.
