This source complex makes it possible to reconstruct the main features of the organization of the work of scientists in the 1960—1970s and allows us to conclude that an insufficiently high level of organization led to low scientific productivity. Especially serious problems were observed in the field of technical supply. In addition, surveys show low satisfaction with the organization of scientific work, especially in the age group of 30—40 years.
