Abstract
A simple graphical procedure is introduced to optimise the design of a regenerative comparator (Schmitt trigger) capable of eliminating from a logic voltage waveform both positive-going ‘noise spikes’ contaminating the ‘0’ level (positive logic convention) and negative-going noise spikes contaminating the ‘1’ level.
