Abstract
In the present paper the following question is treated: Given two arbitrary set functions on an arbitrary set system, when can one find a precharge that lies in between? A number of necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such a precharge is derived, and it is shown how these conditions can be simplified in special cases.
