Abstract
The Japanese have already demonstrated — with motor cycles, zips and TV tubes — the damage they can inflict on European industry with their aggressive selling methods. Now Western bearings manufacturers have joined the complaints queue, alleging that Japanese price‐cutting is throttling home‐based production and causing loss of jobs. Report by Ken Gooding.
