Abstract

The conceptual design of a rotating-coil magnetometer for magnetic field measurements in accelerator magnets is discussed. The magnetometer is designed for a high signal-to-noise ratio and the ablity to measure the transveral harmonics in the fringe-field region of the magnet. The paper focuses on the coil design and production technology.
