Abstract

A robust personal identification system which is adaptable for either rotated or tilted faces, and a fast template matching algorithm are presented. Computer simulation using 40 people shows 94.6% correct discrimination accuracy. In addition, processing time is reduced largely. From the experimental results, the prospects of using this method are very encouraging.
