Abstract

Fire has now become a common catastrophic problem facing all countries and scholars studying related methods of fire risk prevention. There are various fire risks in the urban old communities due to historical reasons on old buildings, limited firefighting facilities and high population density. A comprehensive fire risk assessment is critical in dense urban areas as it provides an estimation of people at risk and property. Based on the theoretical analysis of two types of fire hazard sources of fire factors, this paper adopts the method of dividing urban fire risk levels to classify and quantify fire risk indicators. On this basis, the index system of urban regional fire risk is established, and a judgment matrix is constructed for assessing fire risk. The community fire risk evaluation value is calculated through the judgment matrix and the cumulative weight. Based on the method of risk assessment, a software system was designed in this article, which can be effectively used for risk analysis and assessment of urban communities.
