Abstract
Node localisation is one of the important technologies in wireless sensor networks, and localisation algorithms are the core elements of localisation technology. This paper first lists the evaluation criteria of localization performance, the related terminology used in localization technology, and the classification and analysis of localization algorithms. The paper introduces various node localisation algorithms based on both ranging and non-ranging aspects, and finally presents the shortcomings of the current wireless sensor network localisation technology and provides an outlook on future research prospects.
