Abstract

Abstract: Bacterial self-healing concrete (BSHC) has emerged as a promising technology in the field of construction materials due to its ability to autonomously repair cracks and enhance the durability and service life of concrete structures. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the existing literature on the strength properties of bacterial self-healing concrete. The objective of this review is to provide an overview of the research conducted in this area, assess the effectiveness of bacterial selfhealing in improving the mechanical properties of concrete, and identify potential areas for future research.
