Abstract

All jet engines have an inlet to bring the air into the engine. That we call it the air intake. The intake duct is pre-compressor and has a significant impact on the net motor's tread. The intake duct is available in many shapes and sizes, each with a specific feature according to the engine and the speed of the aircraft. In general, the engine air intake is divided into two categories: subsonic air intake and supersonic air intake. In this paper, the study of the air intake of airborne jet engines in fighter aircraft from the point of view of flight efficiency, rather than its effect on aircraft radar reflections has been considered.
