Abstract
Medical image is the process and technique of creating visual representations of the interior body for easy diagnosis. Imaging techniques are encompasses with the field of radiology, nuclear medicine, Optical imaging and image guided intervention. To identify the abnormalities medical imaging also establishes the database of normal anatomy and physiology. Medical image processing has experience in dramatic expansion and interdisciplinary research fields. The high quality of information can be produced for disease diagnosis and treatment by analyzing a significant volume of processing the data. The main objective of this paper is to provide basic concepts, techniques for medical imaging and to promote a further study and research in medical image processing.
