Abstract

Magnetic polymer nanocomposites are quite compelling in the current situation as a result of the combination of excellent magnetic properties, stability, and great biocompatibility. These nanocomposites can offer the advantages of both organic and inorganic materials combined. These nanocomposites have been exploited for in-vivo imaging, as superparamagnetic or negative contrast agents, drug carriers, and theranostic agents. Moreover, the synergistic combination of magnetic nanostructures with polymers emphatically advanced different multifunctional stages for biomedical applications. Considering the blossoming growth of nanotechnology which has brought challenging innovations in the synthesis of safer and higher-quality Nano-based products, magnetic polymeric nanocomposites have been strongly promoted for diagnosis and therapy in the rapidly emerging area of biomedicine. This review on chiefly centered about the fabrication of magnetic polymer nanocomposites and their various kinds, strategies for preparation, their properties, and further about its in-vivo and in-vitro applications in biomedical field.
