Abstract

With the development of mobile devices, now video games are in reach of every hand in very easy way. For gaming industry, image processing contributed greatly in the fields of image mining, image rotation, image morphing, voice-image movement synchronization, etc. Systems those rely on deep learning (DL) work upon images and videos in games so as to allow quick searches and image retrievals. This review paper provides a brief apprehension upon the benefits of DL algorithms during image segmentation which is believed to be one of the biggest parts of image processing within the gaming industry. This thesis is an overview upon the possible variants of DL approved throughout game imaging and image mining. It also focuses on the content-based image retrievals and identification of flaws in the gaming image.
